Crispy peanut tofu – easy to make!

Let’s transform boring tofu! This recipe will make you LOVE tofu 🙂

I served it with a sweet chili sauce. So good!

Crispy peanut tofu

You have to try this crispy peanut tofu😍 I have to admit that I haven't experimented that much with natural tofu so far, but that's changing now 💪🏼because this was SO GOOD!

Servings 2 servings


  • 1 block of tofu natural
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup
  • A handful of unsweetened corn flakes
  • Frying oil for the pan


  • Preheat the oven to 200 ° C/390°F. Cut the tofu into large cubes and mix with the cornstarch. Bake the cubes for about 15-20 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, mix the peanut butter, soy sauce and maple syrup until creamy (if it's too sticky/thick, add a tiny bit of water) and crumble the cornflakes in a separate bowl.
  • First turn the baked cubes in the peanut mix and then in the crumbled cornflakes. Then fry in oil until goldenbrown. Serve with a dip of your choice ☺
