Crispy peanut tofu
You have to try this crispy peanut tofu😍 I have to admit that I haven't experimented that much with natural tofu so far, but that's changing now 💪🏼because this was SO GOOD!
- 1 block of tofu natural
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 teaspoon soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon maple syrup
- A handful of unsweetened corn flakes
- Frying oil for the pan
- Preheat the oven to 200 ° C/390°F. Cut the tofu into large cubes and mix with the cornstarch. Bake the cubes for about 15-20 minutes.
- Meanwhile, mix the peanut butter, soy sauce and maple syrup until creamy (if it's too sticky/thick, add a tiny bit of water) and crumble the cornflakes in a separate bowl.
- First turn the baked cubes in the peanut mix and then in the crumbled cornflakes. Then fry in oil until goldenbrown. Serve with a dip of your choice ☺
