Maca-Caramel bars
Gluten-free, healthy and easy
Ingredients
Base:
- 165 g/ 1 cup dates
- 150 g / 1 cup of oatmeal
- 1 pinch of salt.
- 2 tbsp Maca mix powder
- 1 tbsp water
Caramel:
- 100g / 1/2 cup dried apricots
- 1 tbsp water
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- A pinch of salt
Moreover:
- 100 g / 3/4 cup dark chocolate pieces e.g. sweetened with coconut blossom sugar
- 2 tbsp soy cuisine / "cream"
Instructions
- Puree / blend the dates with the water. Knead together with the remaining ingredients for the base and press into a small box / form (lined with baking paper).
- Also puree the ingredients for the caramel until creamy and spread on the base.
- Melt the chocolate, mix with the "cream" and spread over the caramel.
- Chill for half an hour and then cut with a hot knife. To do this, briefly hold the knife under a hot water bath and dry it before cutting. Bon appetit 😋
