Chocolate for breakfast? OH YES!
These chocolatey pancakes are healthy, easy to make and super delicious. I used two gluten-free flours but you can also use regular wheat or spelt flour.
I’ve topped them with a tigernut chocolate cream and cherries ( These pictures were taken in summer).

Fluffy, gluten-free chocolate pancakes
The perfect way to have chocolate for breakfast!
Ingredients
- 30g buckwheat flour
- 50g rice flour
- 20g cacao
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 ripe banana / 60g mashed
- 1tsp apple cider vinegar
- 100ml plant milk
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients and stir until it’s all well combined. Bake the pancakes in a well coated, oiled pan on each side ( for around 1-2 min) and serve them with toppings of your choice. I used a tigernut choclate cream (which is naturally sweetened) , fresh cherries and some chocolate chunks.
They taste delicious with other fruits/toppings too!
