Foodporn deluxe- Easy breakfast bagel

Hi everyone!

This has been one of my favourite things ever. It’s super nutritious, healthy, easy prepared and extremely yummy! It’s basically just a snack idea and not a recipe ( the recipe for my homemade chia jam is included though ). I hope you enjoy it anyway 🙂

Recipe (for 1 pers.)

  • 1 bagel ( whole-grain)
  • raw peanut butter ( 100% peanuts)
  • 1 banana
For the homemade strawberry-chia jam: DSC07401-001
  • 3-4 frozen strawberries
  • 1-2 tsp chia seeds

→ you can also use regular jam, but this homemade version is completely natural and totally worth to spent 2 minutes longer on your breakfast 😉



Start with the jam! You can either use the microwave or the stove.

  1.  Heat up the strawberries until they are soft and you can mash them with a fork. It shouldn’t take more than 5 min ( in the microwave max. 3 min)
  2. Add the chia seeds and let it rest for a few minutes.  The Chia seeds absorb the extra water in the cooked strawberries and the mixture gets thicker like jam
  3. Now, all you need to do is to build your bagel! I started with a layer of peanut butter, then I sliced the banana in small pieces and stuck them on the nut butter. For the next layer I added the jam and last but not least I did another layer of peanut butter.
